IxDA Munich is proud to present Alessia Rullo, UX team lead at Hewlett-Packard Spain, in Munich.
Experience and Interaction design may radically change the way an organization addresses innovation, technology and product design:
- The continuous focus on the human beings that will use the final products.
- The capability of shaping user experience that make people feel rewarded and inspired in their work.
- The constant use of imagination to envision new aesthetics and ways of doing things.
All this is about the added value that an Experience Driven process may bring into an IT organization. HP Designjet SmartStream will be the specific case study developed at HP Inc. Barcelona that will be presented and discussed. Alessia will bring the audience through the design process of this project, sharing insights, inspiration and open questions: how to make the user experience a key business and innovation variable?
Speaker
Alessia Rullo works as UX team Lead in the Customer Experience Team at Hewlett-Packard Española, Large Format Printing Division (Barcelona, Spain), where she is in charge for Experience Design Strategy worldwide.
She has joined HP 2010 as senior interaction designer and then as Customer Experience Lead for printing software solution.
Alessia has previously worked as Post-Doc Researcher and external consultant in different European and Italian projects concerning the design of ambient computing systems, development of creative approaches to interaction design, investigation of wearable technologies and new materials, the use of robotics applications as therapeutic aids, development of web 2.0 concepts and services.
She is author and co-author of several scienti?c papers in the ?eld of Human Computer Interaction, Ambient Computing, Pervasive Health and Human Robot Interaction.
She hold a PhD in Human Computer Interaction, with the final dissertation: “Aesthetics of Use: a Methodological Perspective on Ambient Computing” (Rullo, A., 2007) obtained from Florence University, Telematics Dept. Italy.
She has a laurea degree, magna cum laude, in Communication Technologies, from University of Siena, Italy (2003).
Since 2007 she has been teaching Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Experience Design, User Centred Design at University of Siena, University of Sassary, Alghero Faculty of Design and at IED Barcelona (2011-2014).
