Review of the second IxDA Munich Meeting on 23.11.2009

Again a nice group of people turned up for the IxDA Meeting, some we had already met and also a significant amount of new people. The news are spreading!

We had one Pecha Kucha presentation that evening with a very interesting discussion afterwards. It seems our designers are quite shy to get on the stage but enjoy the chat that follows.

Design vs Art (Alexis Brion, Nora Gonzalez Dwyer) held a presentation about a recent research they did on digital cameras and elderly users. This led afterwards to a talk on topics such as evaluation of the research results, different ways of approaching a user interview, universal design, phones for elderly users, interface design and usability.

The next meeting will take place on 11.01.2010. This is (exceptionally) 7 weeks after the previous meeting due to the long Bavarian Christmas holidays. We will post more information about it in the next few days.

We would like to thank IDEO for offering their space, beverages and snacks and also Stephan Engl for taking some pictures of the evening.
